Foundation

Johnson Memorial Health Services Foundation exists to inspire philanthropy that will enhance the quality and availability of healthcare services for the patients and communities served by Johnson Memorial Health Services.

JMHS-Foundation

 Mission

Johnson Memorial Health Services Foundation Partnering with Johnson Memorial Health Services for the health and viability of our community.

Gifts stay local and are tax deductible

All gifts to the JMHS Foundation improve healthcare services, facilities, and technology for patients and residents in Dawson and its surrounding communities. Gifts are tax deductible, as provided by IRS regulation for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Healthcare gifts make a difference

Johnson Memorial Health Services provides a continuum of care for all members of the community. Gifts to the Foundation support critical needs in healthcare through specific projects that might not otherwise be implemented due to limited resources. Contributions can be designated to support a specific area or be an endowed fund to sustain excellence in healthcare for our future.

When you give to the JMHS Foundation, you can choose the way your gift is designated. We always have fundraising goals for specific projects. However, we can discuss a project of interest to you, or allow us to direct your gift to the area of greatest need.

Giving Levels & Recognition

Donations of every size provide important resources to support the growth of local health care. You can support the health and viability of our community at the level that’s right for you:

  • Gnometown Givers – Annual gifts between $100 and $1,000
  • Cornerstone Club – Individual donations of $10,000, payable up to 10 years
  • Heritage Club – Planned gifts, such as those bestowed through a will or estate plan
  • L.I.F.T. Club – (Let’s Invest For Tomorrow) – Gifts of all sizes from JMHS employees

Your partnership with the Foundation aids local healthcare serves and provides you with benefits including your name displayed on a recognition board, acknowledgment of your support in community publications and personal invitations to special events and gatherings.

How to make a charitable gift

Donors can make a gift with grain, stocks, cash, check or credit card.

This year we are raising money to help JMHS purchase it’s own Ultrasound Machine. Currently we are outsourcing these services and only have access to 6 hours of test a week. The limited hours makes it difficult to provide timely diagnostic re-testing. JMHS received a $40,000 Planning and Transition grant for the Minnesota Department of Health to purchase the ultrasound. Our fundraising goal is to raise $45,000 with the JMHS Foundation matching each gift up to $45,000! Learn more>>

For more information on giving opportunities at the Johnson Memorial Health Services Foundation, please contact Saundra Snobl, Foundation and Grant Manager 320-312-2123 or [email protected]. Thank you so much for your interest and support of this healthcare facility, but more importantly, thank you for your dedication to the people we serve.
