Construction began on Walnut Street in front of Johnson Memorial Health Services last week. New temporary entrances for the Hospital and Clinic, as well as the Assisted Living and Care Center will be used for the duration of the project. Large signs are posted at both temporary locations.
For the Hospital and Clinic temporary entrance, patients and visitors may park in the first two rows of the West parking lot, as well as on the street near the sidewalk leading up to the temporary entrance. For those patients needing additional assistance, there are also reserved “priority parking” spots and a “drop off” area in the North parking lot located to the right of the Emergency Entrance. Once inside the facility, signs will direct you to the Clinic Reception/Waiting Area. If you need further assistance, please wait in the Therapy Waiting Area, and someone will be there to help you to your destination.
To visit the Assisted Living and Care Center, please use the temporary driveway that runs parallel to the East wall of the existing Care Center, located off of Locust Street. Parking is available near the Assisted Living and the Care Center entrances.
Throughout the duration of the construction project, JMHS will do our best to keep you updated with any changes that affect the public.
