Just like the new care center building, this year’s JMHS Foundation B.A.S.H. (Building A Superior Healthcare) event is under construction. The Foundation Board has been busy working behind the scenes to implement a new fundraising model. Since we are changing the way we fundraise, the B.A.S.H. will no longer be used as our sole Fundraiser, but as more of a thank you and recognition event.
While we have undergone some changes, the B.A.S.H. is still going to be a great time! There will be the men’s and women’s costume contest, live “amateur” entertainment, and get your purses and pockets ready because we are playing “Let’s Make a Deal.”
Attendees will also enjoy a delicious meal by Trish’s Katering. This year meal includes stuffed pork chops, baked fish, garlic mashed potatoes, veri green beans, 70’s style jello and a chocolate fondue fountain. You can also try out these 70’s style libations the Harvey Wallbanger and Pink Lady.
While we are no longer having a silent auction and wine pull, we have incorporated a raffle. It provides individuals that enjoy supporting the JMHS Foundation an opportunity to do so. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. You could win a YETI Tundra 45 Cooler ($350 Value), Amazon Echo ($180 Value), and $100 Cash!!! You need not be present to win.
We hope you can join us for our annual B.A.S.H. on Friday, April 7 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. We’ll provide an update on the building project with artist renditions of the new spaces, formally recognize donors for their support and announce our current fundraising results. Social hour starts at 5:00 pm with a short program at 5:45 pm. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:00 pm with the raffle winner announced at 6:50 pm. The event will officially be over at 7:00 pm so that attendees can head over to Memorial Auditorium to enjoy the 7:30 pm concert, “Beginnings, the Ultimate Chicago Concert Experience.”
JMHS Foundation Annual B.A.S.H. tickets are $35 per ticket or $65 for two. Both raffle and B.A.S.H. tickets are available from JMHS Foundation Board Members, the clinic receptionists and Marcs on Main. You will want to “book it” and get your tickets today. You will have a “far out” time at our 70’s Celebration. It’s going to be “groovy” man.
