JMHS Easter Egg Hunt a Success!
Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) hosted a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. The event was open to children through 2nd grade and had over 100 kids in attendance. There were games, coloring activities, cookies, and lemonade in addition to the egg hunt.
Children under Pre-K found eggs in the assisted living area, while older kids found eggs around the care center courtyard. The Easter Bunny joined the hunt, providing attendees with various photo opportunities.
“This event provided an excellent opportunity to connect different generations,” stated Lisa DuFrane, JMHS Activities Director. “Our senior living residents and tenants appreciate witnessing families enjoying the day, and we take pride in hosting activities that foster bonds and uplift spirits.”
Senior living residents/tenants and staff helped prepare for the event by filling 1,400 plastic eggs with candy and stickers. JMHS also provided colorful paper bags for the egg collection.
The Community Easter Egg Hunt brought joy to the JMHS campus, from the eager anticipation on the children’s faces to the delighted squeals upon finding and opening the eggs. JMHS aims to keep hosting events that benefit residents/tenants and the community, fostering more shared joy in the future.
