Feeding Frenzy
Last week, many of us had the opportunity to share a meal to celebrate Thanksgiving. I always go into the holiday with the “don’t stuff yourself” mantra but tend to ignore that sound advice during the meal. (How many of you can relate?) There is always so much food to choose from, many of which come with a decent helping of calories. Now, this week, I am wondering whether my workouts may yield any return on the extra pounds that the helping of mashed potatoes provided. The older we get, the more difficult it may be to lose the excess weight. This may be due to activity changes, metabolism, or simply the unavailability of certain healthier foods to choose from. Many weight loss programs are out there; typically, one or two will work for an individual. These program results can vary and leave a person more frustrated by the results. If you are someone who may need a program to get you back on track, JMHS has a bariatric weight loss program that can assist. Dr. Virji has helped so many achieve their weight loss goals. He and his colleagues tailor a program to meet an individual’s specific needs. Call 320-769-4393 today to schedule that weight loss consult.
