We started using the new Surgical Suite January 7 and it’s been in full gear since then. In fact, we did our first total knee surgery in-house and have another knee and a hip replacement scheduled as well!
Hasslen Construction (HCC) is continuing to work on the new Hosp/Clinic Entrance & Waiting room, Business Office, and Telemedicine Room, which should be substantially complete by mid-March. HCC is beginning demolition of the old OR space, in preparation to temporarily move the Lab department so the new Lab renovations can begin. Concurrently, HCC will be working on the new Outreach Clinic space, located near the Surgical Suite. As you can probably tell, we are maximizing the interior renovations during these cold winter months, so the focus can move to the new patient parking lot and helipad at the first sight of spring.
