On April 16, staff, family, and friends gathered to recognize and celebrate Donna Morris’ retirement from Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS). Donna has worked in healthcare for 43 years and has been employed at JMHS for 36 years.
Donna, a LPN, started her career as a nurse at JMHS. She spent 23 years working in the hospital. During that time, she also helped out in Physical Therapy and the Care Center. For the last 13 years she has worked as a Pharmacy Tech in the Hospital. She has many fond memories taking care of patients over her 43-year career and is amazed by the numerous changes in healthcare in the last 36 years.
Donna’s official retirement date was April 17. Her retirement plans include spending more time at home and being with her grandkids and family. She also hopes to have more time to focus on her favorite hobbies, reading and cooking. Her husband Stephen currently has no plans to retire from his dental practice.
Donna is originally from Dassel, MN. She worked at Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis while her husband, Stephen, was in dental school. They have been married for 50 years and have three daughters, three son-in-law’s, four granddaughters, one grandson and one baby due in May. Donna was thrilled to have one of her daughters, Sarah, join her at her retirement party.
JMHS would like to thank Donna for her many years of service and her commitment and dedication to delivering excellence in healthcare to our local community and beyond.
