Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Ayaz Virji will rejoin the medical staff full-time starting June 1st, 2021. Dr. Virji left JMHS in August of 2019 to take a full-time position with New York University (NYU) in Dubai. During this time, he continued to consult for JMHS bariatric patients as needed and worked in the JMHS clinic and hospital when he was in Dawson.

JMHS is thrilled to once again have Dr. Virji on staff full-time. He has 18 years of practice experience in full scope of family medicine including preventive care, urgent care, minor surgeries, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Virji joins an excellent medical staff including Dr. Erik Shelstad, Dr. Larry Grong, Carla Lee – FNP-C, Julie Olson – FNP/PA-C, Renae Durfee – FNP-C, Ali Peterson – APRN, and Amanda Paradis – APRN. Together they provide high-quality, compassionate, healthcare to our local community.
