Work continues on the Care Center Town Center: priming and painting the 2 neighborhood wings, setting trusses over the chapel area, and pouring sidewalks in the courtyard and around the building. In addition, JMHS’ internal team has been diligently working with the Architects to finalize many of the furniture, fixture, and design elements of the Care Center.
Much progress has also been made on the Hospital Surgery addition. Hasslen Construction Company (HCC) has been making preparations to continue work on the Surgical Addition’s exterior wall framing in anticipation of the colder weather, with as minimal disruption to the internal Hospital operations as possible. HCC will also be utilizing a containment area to keep the current Hospital area clean. Construction work will also begin in the upcoming month on the renovation of the Hospital patient room bathrooms, working on 2 rooms at a time to be cognizant of our Hospital patient’s needs. JMHS’ internal team has also been obtaining equipment quotes from vendors and coordinating with Wold Architects and HCC to ensure the space, electrical, and lighting requirements are good to go.
