The Johnson Memorial Health Services Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Stacey Lee at the Monday, October 4, Board Meeting. For the past six years she has been the CEO, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and recently the Assisted Living Administrator. Lee has accepted a position as a Vice President at Ridgeview Medical Center, based out of Waconia, MN.
During her time at JMHS as CEO, Lee oversaw the successful completion of $26.4 million dollar construction project, helped to fundraise $1.6 million through the JMHS Foundation, and led the organization through the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic. Lee had previously served as the CFO for eight years before leaving to practice law.
“It has been my honor being part of the JMHS team the past 6 years as CEO, and an additional 8 years as CFO,” said Lee. “Together, we have accomplished many things, and I have no doubt JMHS will continue these successes in the future.”
Lee and her husband Danny plan to keep their home in Dawson and look for a smaller residence closer to Waconia. She told staff that she will still be around to support JMHS and the JM Foundation and is excited to see JMHS flourish out of this pandemic and continue to provide high quality, compassionate healthcare.
The JMHS Board of Directors is working with an Executive Search Firm to secure an Interim CEO and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Licensed Assisted Living Director for a period of time, while the JMHS Board of Directors work to find a permanent CEO.
