I recently attended my hometown parade, and one of the entrants was a school bus. The school was desperately trying to find bus drivers to fulfill their bussing needs. It made me a bit sad to think that such an important and noble profession was once again struggling to find enough people to fulfill the role. I took some time to think of the responsibility a bus driver has in ensuring that its precious cargo is transported safely to their destination. To all the school bus drivers out there, THANK YOU!
Many professions are struggling to find enough people to fulfill important roles. Our JMHS Ambulance is a different kind of “bus” that continues to look for people interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician or “EMT.” Classes are held at least annually for people interested in this opportunity. Our new ambulances are state-of-the-art equipped and provide a safe transport experience. If this opportunity sounds like one you may be interested in, please get in touch with Ann Jensen at 320-226-7699. Our community needs those “Bus Driving” professionals to ensure that the precious lives they are carrying get to their destination safely. THANK YOU to all of the EMT professionals currently serving our community!!
When we see any bus, we can all do our part to keep a safe distance or pull off to the side while honoring any stop or warning signals. Let’s ensure those “driving the bus” can provide a safe experience for all!
