Some of the most loved people in my life are Physicians. My uncle is a Radiologist, and some of my best friends are Physicians. I have learned over the years that they dedicate their lives to helping others. This statement may seem simplistic, but it truly exemplifies how the mission to care for others is a sacrifice when you have watched them go through medical school, spend all night tending to an emergency, or the countless hours of continued education. At JMHS, we are so blessed to have a wonderful complement of Physicians on our team. Providing care in a rural community is often very complex. Our Physicians see people of all ages and ensure that all our services are covered, including hospital, clinic, senior services, emergency room, and on-call off hours. Dr. Shelstad, Dr. Virji, Dr. Grong, and Dr. Arvold are four of the most dedicated Physicians I have ever met, and we are grateful for their compassion and care for our community. Dr. Gerbig, Dr. Maus, and our founding Physicians, the Johnsons, have all left their mark on our organization’s heart. We are grateful for all of their contributions.
