Responsibilities for Residents
Heading out with your loved one for an event or outing? Let’s make it safe and enjoyable!
As you prepare to take a resident(s) out for an event, we want to remind you of a few important responsibilities to ensure their safety and well-being:
- Supervision: Please ensure that the resident(s) is supervised at all times during the outing. Their safety is our top priority.
- Health Needs: Be aware of any specific health needs or medications that the resident(s) may require during the outing. Bring any necessary items, such as medications or mobility aids (cane, walker, and/or wheelchair.)
- Safety Responsibility: Once you leave our doors, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of the resident(s). Please be mindful of their needs, level of assistance and surroundings.
- Emergency Contacts: Keep a list of emergency contacts handy, including the nursing home’s contact information, in case you need assistance.

River Road: ext. 2312 - Return Time: Please plan to return the resident(s) to the facility according to agreed upon time, as this helps us maintain their routine and ensures they receive any necessary evening care.
- Report Concerns: Upon returning, please report any concerns or observations regarding resident(s) well-being to our staff. Your feedback is essential for their ongoing care.
- Communication: If there are any changes in plans or if you need assistance, please communicate with our staff.
