Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) is pleased to welcome Renae Durfee, FNP to their healthcare provider team. Durfee received her masters of science degree from SDSU and has more than 11 years of practice experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Renae join our healthcare team,” said Stacey Lee, JMHS CEO. “Not only does she bring an excellent skill set but she truly cares about her patients and co-workers.”
Durfee enjoys working in healthcare. She likes the mix of technical hands-on skills, knowledge, and the ability to impact people’s lives positively.
“I wanted to continue to practice small-town healthcare in a progressive and independent facility,” said Durfee. “It is important for me to work in a rural healthcare setting to ensure access to healthcare and to maintain the livelihood of a small community.”
Durfee and her husband, Jerry, have been married for 25 years. They have two boys. Adam (19) is a freshman at Augustana in Sioux Falls, SD. Zach (16) is a sophomore at Canby High-School.
Durfee began working at Johnson Memorial Health Services January 2, 2018. She sees ER, Hospital, Care Center, and Clinic same day patients. For more information, please contact Cori Bothun, Clinic Manager at 320-312-2108 or visit www.jmhsmn.org.
