NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT affidavits of candidacy for the offices listed below may be filed for the DAWSON AREA HOSPITAL DISTRICT, Johnson Memorial Health Services, Board election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Board seats to be filled:
Full Four-Year Term Seats
- Lac Qui Parle Township
- Maxwell Township
- Providence Township
- City of Dawson
Two-Year Term (Unexpired Term) Seat
- At-Large Member
The Johnson Memorial Health Services Hospital District Board consists of nine members representing seven townships, the City of Dawson, and one member at large, elected by the qualified voters of the District.

Filing Period: Opening Date: Tuesday, July 14, 2026
Closing Date: Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the city, township, or area they seek to represent. Candidates filing for the at-large position must reside within the Hospital District.
