Celebrating AG Industry

The month of March honors all of those that work in the agriculture industry.  My grandparents were farmers and I have fond memories of spending summers on the farm.  I also know what long hours; safety risks and weather-related stress come with farming.   It is not an occupation for the faint of heart.  I will forever remember my grandfather shouting at me to “stay clear of the power take off, however, that may be the extent of my tractor knowledge.   I am grateful for everyone that devotes their lives to ensuring that our economy is strong through supplying us a variety of products produced in the Ag industry.

JMHS is honoring our Agriculture industry by co-hosting AG Day tomorrow, March 13, 2024 at the Dawson Boyd Community Center from 10 am until 1 pm with a $10 lunch available between 10 am and 1 pm.  All proceeds will go towards funding the Dawson Chamber AG student scholarships.  We hope to see everyone there!
