Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) is pleased to welcome Amanda Paradis, Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) – Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), to their healthcare provider team. She received her masters of science degree from Georgetown University, Washington D.C., and her bachelor of science degree from Minnesota State University Mankato, Mankato MN. Paradis has more than 2.5 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and 8.5 years as a Nurse.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Amanda join our healthcare team,” said Stacey Lee, JMHS CEO. “Amanda’s compassionate care philosophy and extensive urgent care experience are very beneficial to our patients and the community.”
Paradis provides primary care for individuals of all ages, from infants to older adults, including chronic disease management. She will be working in both the Dawson and Boyd clinics, seeing same-day walk-in appointments, and covering the ER during the clinic hours.
“I look forward to practicing in the community I grew up in,” said Paradis. “I love helping people feel their best, and believe that by getting to know my patients, I can help them achieve their wellness goals.”
Paradis graduated from DBHS as Amanda Nelson. She and her husband, Travis, have two children; a son Tate (7) and daughter Sierra (18 mo).
