Having just held our 5th annual JMHS golf tournament last Friday, the volume of people that contribute to the success of our local community businesses and services was evident. The amount of representation from businesses large and small really touched my heart. People took time from their busy schedules and/or donated money and products to support our fundraising efforts. All in the spirit of making our community better through enhanced services and student scholarship opportunities. Thank you to everyone that had a part in making our event successful. It is inspiring to see the level of engagement this community has in ensuring that the health and welfare of its residents are supported. There is still time to sign up for the Kids Mini-Tri and the Riverfest 5k Fun Run this Thursday, June 22, 2023. Our JMHS vision statement is to “inspire change and make a healthy difference in people’s life.” We hope to continue sharing that vision with you for many years.
