Who doesn’t like to be on the receiving end of kindness? Over the past months, I have seen so many expressions of this as weather challenges have created opportunities to demonstrate kindness. When I travel the halls of JMHS, I often see people working together, bringing treats for one another, and sharing in a birthday celebration, to name a few. When on the road, I have seen people stop to help a stranger, offer a coat to someone involved in an accident, and provide shelter until help arrives. It feels good to give kindness, receive kindness and see kindness. At JMHS, we strive to be the kind of healthcare facility that demonstrates the highest level of kindness and compassion to everyone who lives, works, and receives care.
