Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is celebrated annually during the last full week of April and honors those who work in laboratory medicine not only this week but all year long. This year’s theme is ” Diagnosis Detective: Solving Patient Cases One Test at a Time.”
Since lab professionals often work behind the scenes, few people know the critical testing they perform every day. Performing and evaluating medical laboratory tests to correctly detect, diagnose, and help prevent diseases makes them essential members of the patients’ healthcare team.
Lab Week is a time to honor the more than 300,000 medical laboratory professionals around the country who perform and interpret more than 10 billion laboratory tests in the United States every year.
Johnson Memorial Health Services would like to thank its team of lab professionals for their outstanding service and dedication to their patients. They include Manager Kelly Wente, Cindy Staab, Sharon Schnackenberg, Joel Ehrenberg, Rachel Schilling and Mackenzie Clark. Our Clinic Lab team has a combined 85 years of experience. It is their commitment to providing excellence in healthcare, everyday that sets us apart from other Healthcare facilities.
For more information on our quality lab team and the services, they provide, contact Kelly Wente, Lab and Radiology Manager at 320-769-4323.
